Monthly Vegetarian Cooking Class
and Potluck Supper

February 6, 2012
6:00 p.m.

Presentation:

Please join us on Sunday night, February 5th at 6:00 p.m. for our monthly Vegetarian Class and Potluck Supper.

Please welcome our newest guest demo presenter, Viren Lalka, who is also our newest board member, and who may soon become our new leader!

By profession, Viren is a tax practitioner, but is a Master Chef-in-Training, a life-long vegetarian, a health food enthusiast, and a potential cook book author of Fusion Food. He states that he is at a stage in life where he "eats to live," so it must be healthy, nutritious and healing. He plans to prepare Sambar rice, which is toor dhal cooked with vegetables and spices; also, Upma, which is a healthy semolina-based breakfast dish with spices. So, don't miss this delectable offering which promises to whet your palate!

We will share a vegetarian/vegan potluck supper. Please bring a vegetarian/vegan dish to share.

We will begin at 6 p.m. at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church on Kingston Pike in Knoxville.

There will be a small collection of money to help offset the room rental. Cost is $2 for members and $3 for guests.
